BOI is a knit design and development lab based in Berlin. The studio creates its own collection for home textiles and develops knits for fashion and interior designers and brands. We use the latest technology and our extensive know-how for design-driven developments.

The BOI brand is a continuous exploration of the art of knitting with sustainability as its core value. Led by founder and designer Goran Sidjimovski, the brand approach is driven by a trial and error and hands-on mentality and aims to challenge the perception of knitted textiles. Sustainability is reflected throughout the design and production process in both environmental and social context.

By experimenting directly on the machine different textile surfaces come to live. The development is non-linear: products may be inspired by technology or yarns, or samples may be developed with a specific product in mind.
