Our Story

The BOI brand is a continuous exploration of the art of knitting with sustainability as its core value. Led by founder and designer Goran Sidjimovski, the brand approach is driven by a trial and error and hands-on mentality and aims to challenge the perception of knitted textiles.

Sustainability is reflected throughout the design and production process in both environmental and social context. All products are produced locally in Berlin with a selection of the finest yarns, such as: RWS certified wool, GOTS certified cotton, FSC certified viscose, recycled yarns or dead-stock materials.

By experimenting directly on the machine different textile surfaces come to live. The development is usually non-linear and products are rather inspired by technology or yarns, than by moods and visual references.
